Project for CIS50: Due the last day of classes (points off for late submission)

Your assignment is to create a realistic project that uses several Oracle tables and where the work with the tables is done mainly with PL/SQL. Tables can be created using SQL. The grade will be determined based on the level of complexity and the variety of coding techniques that you use.

The project should involve:

• at least three tables where there is a link from one table into the other
• there should be one table that has a one to many relationship with another table
• each table should have a primary key
• the link between two tables should be established as a foreign key
• some constraints should be used when creating the tables
• there should be additional tables that are used to hold the results of querying or taking things out of one or more tables.

The PL/SQL programs query the table for situations that need to be dealt with, create tables of extracted information etc.

You should include the following in one or more of your PL/SQL programs:

• If statements use two different ways
• Loops use two different types
• Tables
• Cursors use several and try at least one For cursor and one multiple cursors
• Exceptions - use two different types
• Procedure
• Function
• Trigger

If you have already created a database that you use for examples you can adapt it to meet these criteria and proceed from there.
