CIS61 Assignment:
Problem #1: In your
oil database, make sure you have established the relationships between the
three tables: customer, housetype, delivery.
Problem #2: I would
like you to use design view to create the following queries using one table.
- Query
to get a list of all people that have tank capacity greater than a given
number (you decide on the number)
- Query
to get a list of all people that have tank capacity greater than a given
number AND a housetype code of your choice
- Query
to get a list of all people that have tank capacity greater than a given
number OR a housetype code of your choice
- Query
to get a list of all people that have a tank capacity greater than a given
number AND either live in city one or city two. You choose the cities based on your data. If you do not have
more than one city, add a few records.
- Query
to get all records in the delivery table that are greater than a specified
date
- Query
to get all records using the like function used in your text
- Query
for two things in an AND relationship and sort on a specified field
Problem #3: I would
like you to use two tables for the following queries:
- Using
the customer table and the housetype table show the fall and winter
averages as well as the customer name and address for all houses that have
a specified housetype
- Using
the customer table and the delivery table show all deliveries for a specified customer id. If you do not have multiple deliveries
for people, modify the delivery table by adding some records before you do
this query.
